In October 2019, Shihe robot received the first large-scale order of ship derusting robot in China. At present, 24 ship derusting robots have been shipped, including 18 reclaiming discs and 6 swinging arms. It is planned to complete the production and delivery of 100 sets in succession by the middle of 2020. With the continuous shipment of products, Shihe robot began to realize large-scale application in shipyards all over the country.

　　Recently, engineer Shi He carried two kinds of products, i.e. ship recycling disk derusting robot and ship swing arm derusting robot, to many shipyards in Zhoushan, Shanghai and Qingdao to carry out large-scale on-site operation of ship derusting robot. Among them, in a shipyard of Zhoushan, there are 6 robots working at the same time, with a derusting area of 10500m2; in a shipyard of Shanghai, there are 9 robots working at the same time, with a derusting area of 3000m2; in a shipyard of Qingdao, there are 2 robots working at the same time, with a derusting area of 3000m2. The above operation positions include the straight bottom of the outer plate, the flat bottom of the outer plate, the inner cabin, etc., with an accumulated operation area of more than 15000 ㎡. Through calculation, the comprehensive derusting efficiency of Shihe robot is 20-40 ㎡ / h, and the derusting quality is sa 2.5.

　　The traditional way of ship cleaning and derusting requires more than a dozen workers. By carrying a basket or aerial work vehicle, the workers hold a high-pressure spray gun for derusting. The operation and maintenance costs are high. Moreover, the manual hand-held spray gun will produce a great recoil force. At the same time, the working environment is dusty and noisy, which has a huge potential safety hazard. After using Shihe ship derusting robot, the remote control robot is used to carry out derusting operation. The operation efficiency is significantly improved, the operation cost is reduced, and the safety of personnel is effectively guaranteed.
